Please give me a call to schedule a class for the latest designing and coloring techniques. Classes at home are one on one or in small groups. I will travel to you for larger group requests. My teaching is a very sensible approach to designing a gourd project and anyone with the desire to learn can achieve amazing results no matter your skill level. Many beginners to gourd art love the one on one attention because we can address your personal desire for learning the arts. Please call to schedule a date that fits both our schedules. Classes are usually all day from 10 am to 4 pm and prices will vary according to product use and added embellishments. If you are interested in learning the use of specific products or a technique, the fee is $20.00 an hour and you can determine the time needed for this visit. You can also bring your unfinished gourd projects that you don’t know how to complete. We will give it the finish you will be happy with.

What to Expect
Please join me for a wonderful and enjoyable learning experience. No matter the level of experience, you will really enjoy learning my techniques.
You will learn how to transfer patterns the easy and sensible way. Since I pioneered the use of ink dyes on gourd art as well as many other products on the market, you will learn from the expert on how to use products and color. We will be working with heat activated glue and embossing powder, acrylic paints, ink dyes, alcohol inks and more. Learn how to varnish the right way when using ink dyes along with many other learning tips shared during this class.
I will provide the gourd, all the coloring and finishing products, some tools, embellishments and a step by step instructional pamphlet.
Each student will be responsible for bringing the following items.*

• Babywipes
• Sack Lunch & Beverage(s)
